Since childhood, Gayle has found many outlets for her creativity, from learning to play the electric organ, euphonium and clarinet, performing in school drama and wind band performances, through to writing stage plays and short stories, painting with oil and carbon, volunteering on hospital radio and photography. Her introduction to the latter happened at an early age, when she was handed her first 35mm film camera by her father, on her first trip to the local zoo. She has gone on to own other camera formats since then, including APS and underwater which, in one form or another, have accompanied her on her many travels throughout the UK and to places such as Crete, Switzerland and South Korea. Now working with a Canon 40D, Gayle has found her kinship in wildlife, nature and landscape photography, seeking out the unique views not only for where she lives and the Midlands, but also for the UK at large. Yet the photography range of this singular woman does not stop there. Gayle is now pairing her avid interest in motorsport and Formula 1 with her photography, adding to a portfolio that already consists of the 2010 and 2011 Santander British Grand Prix, and a network base that includes Loughborough Car Club. Looking ahead, her future collaborations already include a commercial shoot for a card designing company, a series of action shots for a BMX dirt biker and a continuing partnership with Loughborough Car Club.
